Model Naomi Campbell and actress Ginnifer Goodwin are celebrating their birthdays today.
Naomi Campbell, 44
Model, actress, singer and producer Naomi Campbell turns 44 today. She started her modeling career at the age of 15. During the '80s and '90s, she became among the top three most recognizable and in-demand models alongside Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista. Campbell continued to be in high demand as a model over the years. Campbell performed with Kate Moss and other supermodels in the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games, where they modelled haute couture to represent British fashion.
Throughout her career, Campbell has also tried out other ventures including a novel, an r&b-pop studio album, and acting appearances in film and television. Campbell serves as a coach, judge and executive producer on Oxygen's modeling competition reality series, The Face, and has also been involved in its international productions.
Ginnifer Goodwin, 36
Television and film actress Ginnifer Goodwin turns 36 today. Goodwin first had roles in NBC television programs including Law & Order and Ed. She then appeared in the Comedy Central television movie Porn 'n Chicken. She transitioned to film, appearing in Mona Lisa Smile, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!, Walk the Line and Love Comes to the Executioner. Goodwin earned the leading role as Margene Heffman, in the HBO original series Big Love, and has had recurring voice roles in the Cartoon Network show, Robot Chicken.
In 2008, Max Mara honored Goodwin with a Face of the Future award, an award which recognizes up and coming women in film. Goodwin also starred in He's Just Not That into You, receiving a nomination for the People's Choice Award for Breakout Movie Actress, Ramona and Beezus, Take Me Home Tonight and Something Borrowed alongside Kate Hudson. Goodwin also starred as Jackie Kennedy in the television film Killing Kennedy.
Goodwin plays Mary Margaret Blanchard/Snow White on the ABC drama Once Upon a Time.
