Singer Enrique Iglesias and actor Stephen Amell are celebrating their birthdays today.

Enrique Iglesias, 39

Spanish singer-songwriter, actor, and record producer Enrique Iglesias turns 39 today. Iglesias became one of Latin America's biggest stars in the mid 1990's. In 1999, he transitioned into the English music market. He was asked by Will Smith to contribute to the soundtrack for Wild Wild West. "Bailamos" was released as a single and went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Iglesias released his first English speaking album, Enrique in 1999 under Interscope records. In 2000, Iglesias performed at Super Bowl XXXIV alongside Christina Aguilera, Phil Collins, and Toni Braxton. In 2001, Iglesias released his second English album, Escape, and it became his best selling album to date. Iglesias went on to release Quizás (2002), 7 (2003), Insomniac (2007) and Euphoria (2010).

Iglesias released his tenth studio album, Sex and Love, in March 2014. The Spanish and English fused album features artists including Pitbull, Romeo Santos, Flo Rida, Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Lopez and India Martínez.

Iglesias has also transitioned to acting, having roles in Once Upon a Time in Mexico, How I Met Your Mother and Two and a Half Men.

In 2001, Iglesias started dating tennis player Anna Kournikova, and despite rumors of a split, the two were seen together early this year.

Stephen Amell, 33

Actor Stephen Amell turns 33 today. Amell started his career by appearing in the television series Queer as Folk. He went on to star in Dante's Cove, Da Kink in My Hair and Heartland.

In 2010, Amell joined the cast of The Vampire Diaries for their second season. He also made appearances on shows including Hung, New Girl and Private Practice. In 2012, Amell was cast as the lead character in the CW's Arrow.

Amell married actress and model Cassandra Jean on December 25, 2012 in a private ceremony, and have a daughter named Mavi Alexandra.
