ABC signed Chandra Wilson, Sara Ramirez, Justin Chambers and James Pickens Jr to new two-year deals to remain on Grey's Anatomy.
ABC wanted to make sure it locked down the rest of its core cast as the show nears the end of its 10th season , according to The Hollywood Reporter. Should the show continue to get picked up, they would be around for an 11th and 12th season.
They join series stars Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo who signed two-year deals back in January.
The show has yet to be officially picked up for another season just yet, but steady ratings all but guarantee its return.
While the majority of the cast is returning, it still isn't known if Caterina Scorsone will be a series regular for the next season and Sandra Oh, along with Tessa Ferrer and Gaius Charles are leaving the show. Their contracts were not picked up, but they could potentially return in guest appearances.
THR notes that co-showrunners Tony Phelan and Joan Rater decided not to return at the end of this season after inking a development deal over with rival network CBS.
