Singer Ciara and her future husband, rapper Future, have welcomed their first child together. The “Body Party” singer gave birth to a baby boy on Monday.
This is the first child for Ciara, notes Page Six. However, it is Future’s fourth, as he has three other children from previous relationships.
A source also confirmed the baby’s birth to Us Weekly. The baby was born early Monday morning in Los Angeles. The couple have not confirmed the boy’s name yet.
Ciara, 28, confirmed that she was expecting in January. She later told the Huffington Post that when they found out the baby’s sex, Future was excited.
“I did have a preference before I found out what it was,” the singer said. “[The result] was different than what I thought, but my fiancé got what he wanted.”
In an interview with Us Weekly last month, she said she felt great. “I didn't even know what to expect, but it's been a very easy process—and it's been so much fun,” she told the magazine. “Honestly, it's been the coolest experience in my life! Besides getting engaged which happened last year, this has been pretty awesome.”
Ciara and Future began dating early last year and got engaged in October.
