Dancing With The Stars has had its share of injuries and maladies on the set, with both pros and celebrities finding themselves suffering through injuries. The latest injury to occur is due to a shoulder injury.

Mark Ballas, dancing pro whose current partner is former Full House star Candace Cameron Bure, suffered the injury during rehearsals for the finale of the show, according to CBS News. After a trip to the hospital, he was advised to take a seat from the finale, but Ballas still wants to perform.

A spokesperson told People, “His shoulder popped out during a lift and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was treated and released. It’s unclear whether or not he’ll be able to perform on Monday’s show.”

According to People, the injury happened during a routine in which Ballas lifted Bure onto his shoulders. Two other pro dancers, Derek Hough and Cheryl Burke, were nearby and quickly came to his aid.

In case Ballas is unable to perform, another dancing pro will learn the routine with Bure so she will be able to compete for the Mirror Ball trophy.

CBS News reported the three other couples remaining include Olympian Meryl Davis partnered with Maxs Chmerkovskiy, television star James Maslow partnered with Peta Murgatroyd, and Paralympian Amy Purdy partnered with Derek Hough.

This season of DWTS will end with the dance performance on Monday night and the results to be aired on Tuesday night.
