Drew Barrymore is introducing her newborn daughter Frankie, who joined older sister Olive, 20 months, just last month. She’s also explaining how she juggles being a new mom of two.
Barrymore, who’s film Blended hits theaters this weekend, admitted it is a “juggling act” with two kids as opposed to one.
“I knew that I have two kids to take care of now and just kicked my own butt to get backinto the swing of things immediately,” she told People. It is a challenge, however, because "They're awake and asleep at different times, or awake at the same time.”
She compared her own tumultuous childhood to the one she hopes to provide for her girls, noting she wants to give them as stable as a home as possible because it’s something she never had.
“Always being on time, being there when I say I'm going to be there. Creating a real stable home. I know when my daughter wants to swing higher and jump into the pool and all of these things, she feels safe. To make your kids feel safe is everything,” she explained.
