A former reality show starlet who defeated 84 other woman to win Chad Johnson’s heart on Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her beau.
According to TMZ Sports, authorities said that on May 25 a verbal argument between Rubi Pazmino and her boyfriend turned violent and the 32-year-old allegedly stabbed him in the chest.
Police said that Pazmino was charged with domestic battery and released. Her 36-year-old boyfriend was hospitalized in critical condition.
The Toronto Sun noted that back 2010, Pazmino won the dating competition to be with the former NFL star, but the relationship between the two did not work out and they broke up.
After he learned of the news Johnson said that he had fond memories of the show’s winner.
"She was a doll during our times together. I love her and wish her the best in these rough times."
Of course, the former wide receiver had his own a domestic violence issue to deal with in 2012 when his ex-wife, Evelyn Lozada, accused him of head-butting her.
