The past few weeks have included a lot of rumors and speculation surrounding the future of Naya Rivera on Fox's hit musical comedy Glee, but Fox has now confirmed the singer has not been fired from the show.

Entertainment Weekly reported that Rivera's team of representatives had already released a statement that she was not fired from the hit show. “Any reports or rumors circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from Glee are absolutely untrue. End of story.”

On May 4, Fox released their own official statement saying that Rivera was not fired from the show and she remains under contract.

Rivera plays Santana Lopez on Glee and rumors started to circulate because her character had been written out of the May 13th season finale of Glee. Fellow co-star Lea Michele would not comment on anything regarding Rivera and made it clear that the two are still friends. It was previously reported that Michele and Rivera were feuding on set allegedly due to the attention Michele got with her character Rachel Berry.

With all of this going on, Rivera was also dropped from her current record contract with Columbia records.
