The French company announced on Friday that Gisele Bundchen was to be the new face for Chanel No. 5.

The campaign for No. 5 will be directed by Baz Luhrmann, who recently helmed The Great Gatsby, reports Women's Wear Daily. The current plan is to film the latest commercial in New York and the Hamptons.

Bunchen was selected as the face of the Chanel No. 5 because of "her natural beauty and modern femininity."

This will be Luhrmann's second time working with Chanel, as he previously put together a commercial a decade ago with Nicole Kidman, who he also worked with for Moulin Rouge, taking center stage.

According to Us Weekly, previous stars who were faces for the product include Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Tautou and Brad Pitt.

Bundchen and husband Tom Brady reportedly are selling their 18,700 sq. ft. Los Angeles mansion to Dr. Dre for $40 million.

Despite the mansion costing $50 million and four years to build, the couple decided they would rather live full time in Boston.
