Hugh Jackman to return to Broadway after hosting the Tony Awards.

The Associated Press reports that Jackman expressed his excitement both for hosting the Tony Awards for the third time, and for returning to Broadway.
"I'm going back to Broadway," Jackman told The Associated Press. "I'm doing a play called The River, a Jez Butterworth play. So I'm really looking forward to treading the boards here on Broadway."
The River tells the story of a trout fisherman in a remote cabin who is visited by two of the women in his life. The play was first seen in London in 2012. It will be Jackman's fourth time taking the Broadway stage. He had a one-man show in 2011, and appeared in A Steady Rain alongside Daniel Craig in 2009, and The Boy From Oz in 2003.
Jackman will host the Tony Awards for the third time on June 8.
"I've done it three times, the Tonys," Jackman said. "For me it's one of the best shows out there. It is one of the most excepting, generous audiences you can ever get at Radio City Music Hall."
Jackman has been making numerous appearances recently to promote his new film, X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
He recently interviewed his "younger self" for a Yahoo! UK interview. He told his younger self about how big of a star he would soon become, and that he would play The Wolverine.
The Tony Awards air Sunday, June 8 on CBS. X-Men: Days Of Future Past will hit theaters May 23.
