Judge Judy, known for her years on television, will be the subject of a new special, Judge Judy Primetime on CBS.
The special will also look at Sheindlin’s career from the time that she was a New York Family Court judge before she became a figure on mainstream television. Her no-nonsense approach to law has kept viewers tuning in for years. Today, she is one of the most widely known judges on TV. Judge Judy is a top-rated series in first run syndication, according to the LA Times.
The special is one hour long. On the television program will be “Judyisms,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. Sheindlin has always been quick to offer a thoughtful response and a smart one-liner. Judge Judy Primetime will also offer video footage from a 60 Minutes episode with the popular judge. The television show, Judge Judy, had its debut in 1996.
