Country singer Luke Bryan required stitches after falling off the stage during his concert in North Carolina Thursday.
Bryan, who was performing at the PNC Music Pavillion, was standing closer to the edge than he realized when he suddenly fell to the floor in front of the audience behind the barriers, reported the
L.A. Times. He and his his band were performing a Macklemore and Ryan Lewis song, “Cant Hold Us” when the incident took place. Luckily security helped Bryan back on the stage where he continued the concert sitting.
This wasn’t the first time that the country star has fallen from the stage in North Carolina. "The last time I was in North Carolina I busted my ass," he said. "What is it about North Carolina that makes me bust my ass?"
Though the fall looked particularly nasty, according to Fox News, he later took to his Twitter to assure fans that he was OK, just needed a few stitches.
I'm good. Few stitches.
