Marilyn Manson will be appearing on the new FX drama, Sons of Anarchy. The musician has a recurring role for the seventh and final season of the show.
“Sons’ has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s,” said Manson, according to Variety. “So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of ‘SOA’ is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”
Manson will play Ron Tully in the show’s upcoming season. Sons of Anarchy is about a rogue motorcycle gang from California, according to Billboard. The show stars Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, and Ron Perlman.
Manson, originally named Brian Warner, previously appeared on the television series, Eastbound and Down. He lent his vocal talents to the tv show, Once Upon a Time. In terms of films, the shock-rocker has starred in Party Monster and Jawbreaker.
Sons of Anarchy returns to FX for its final season in September, 2014.
