Miley Cyrus resumed her Bangerz tour on Tuesday night at London’s 02 Arena for the first time since being hospitalized for an allergic reaction to a medication she was taking.
Before she took the stage, however, she took the opportunity to refute rumors that she was hospitalized due to a drug overdose.
The 21-year-old “Wrecking Ball” singer explained at a press conference, "I didn't have a drug overdose. I took some sh--ty antibiotics that a doctor gave me for a sinus infection and I had a reaction.”
“I'm the poster child for good health,” she continued, letting the press know how excited she was to get back on stage, Huffington Post reports. "You have no idea how ready I am. There is nothing I would rather not do than lay in a bed for two weeks. It was the most miserable two weeks of my life."
Last month, Cyrus spoke to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest about her hospital stay, calling it “so scary.”
