Model Adriana Lima and her husband Marko Jaric are splitting up after half a decade of marriage, it was announced on Friday.
The Victoria's Secret model and her husband released a statement together to People saying, "After long and careful consideration, we have decided to separate after five years of marriage."
Lima and former NBA player Jaric have two children together, 4-year-old Valentina and 19-month-old Sienna.
They got engaged on her 27th birthday, two years after meeting a Los Angeles party in 2006. Then in 2009 they decided to elope on Valentine's Day in a small ceremony.
Lima continues to be a highly-sought after model and became a Victoria's Secret Angel 14 years ago, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Jaric started his NBA career playing for the Los Angeles Clippers for three seasons beginning in 2002. After that he signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves for another three-season stint that ended in 2008. He would go on to sign with a few other teams, including the Memphis Grizzlies, but never really saw much time on the floor.
