Orange Is the New Black is returning for a third season after being renewed by Netflix.
The Hollywood Reporter reports how the series has received a third season renewal for 13 episodes, before its season two premiere next month. The second season of Orange Is the New Black premieres on June 6.
TV Guide reveals how Laura Prepon posted a picture on Instagram confirming the news about the show being picked up for a third season. Prepon wrote in the picture's caption, "It's official!! Season 3!!"
As previously reported, Prepon is set to return to Orange Is the New Black as a full-time cast member for the show's third season.Last November, BuzzFeed reported that Prepon was contracted to only appear in the first season of Orange Is The New Black. However, for the show's upcoming second season Prepon will appear in four episodes.
