Queen Elizabeth II life's will be turned into a $170 million series.

Queen Elizabeth II's life story, from the time of her father's death to the present, will be portrayed in a mini-series of more than 20 hours, according to a report in The Daily Mail.

The original series, "The Crown" will likely be two seasons long. Netflix and Sony were in negoations over who will be the streamer of the series. Netflix was able to gain the rights. Golden Globe winner Peter Morgan is the writer of the series. Morgan resume's includes screenwriting "Frost/Nixon," and "The Queen"

The specifics on casting for the show have not been revealed but according to Variety.com, 3 actresses will be needed to play the Queen throughout her life. Casting for the film will takes months and everyone from every aspect in her life will be portrayed.
