Shailene Woodley had to cut her hair short for the film The Fault in Our Stars and she’s now sharing a video of the moment she got it chopped off.

Woodley shared the video with MTV News, which features the actress crying over kissing her long-hair days goodbye.

"Oh my God! I might cry so hard you guys," she said in the video. "I just can't look yet…I'm so afraid to look.”

However, when it was all over she seemed happy with the result. "This is so cool!" she said at the end.

She was a good sport about it, admitting “It was a super-fun moment.” She donated her hair to a charity who makes wigs for children who have lost their hair through chemotherapy called Children With Hair Loss, Daily News reports.

Woodley plays cancer patient Hazel Grace Lancaster in the film opposite Ansel Elgort, who plays cancer survivor Augustus.

The Fault in Our Stars is a film adaptation of the novel by author John Green.
