Singer Paul Simon is taking the blame in a domestic dispute that occurred between him and his wife Edie Brickell.
Simon and Brickell were charged last week for getting into a domestic dispute at their home on April 26. The duo appeared in court on April 28 and claimed that neither one of them were a threat to the other and that they didn't need protective orders. According to the CT Post Simon released a statement on May 2, stating how reports in the media blaming Brickell for the fight are unfair and that he got what he deserved. Simon released the statement through his attorney, Steve Hayes, and said, "I hurt her deeply. Frankly, I got what I deserved. Thank God we still love each other."
The Daily Mail reports how just a few days after being charged for their domestic dispute, Simon and Brickell released a song together called "Liked To Get To Know You Again". Simon and Brickell have three children together and are due back in court on May 26.
