Steve carell gives inside information on Executive Producing his new show on FOX "Riot."

According to Entertainment Weekly, Steve Carell is not only the executive producer on his new show Riot, but he is also the very first celebrity guest star. He is not quite sure exactly what he really got himself into:

"I have no idea what I’m getting myself into, he said.” “It’s taking improv comedy and elevating it to the next level. All the parameters of a normal improv scene just get thrown into this insanity!”

The host Rove McManus was referred to the "evil puppeteer," because he is in charge of making comedians to do even more funny ridiculous things, just by yelling at them from the sidelines:

“I feel like it’s the most interactive experience you can have,” he said. “I can literally yell something at the performers to make them do it.”

According to Daily Mail, McManus and Carell have been friends since 2005 hitting it off immediately, and they had told The Sydney Morning Herald, that the show was built out of nothing but friendship:

"Get Steve Carell to promise you something," Rove said, "because he will make it happen....when he says to you, Hey, I want to do something with you, he will back that up."

The first show that premiered Tuesday at 9p.m. included stars like Andy Buckley from The Office, right alongside his co-worker Steve Carrell. The show is an adaptation from a familiar show in Australia which was based off of a show in France. It was picked up by Fox for eight episodes. Stars from the The Big Bang Theory, and Seinfield are also scheduled to make an appearance to the improv show. The show airs Tuesday's at 9p.m on Fox.
