Subway’s human mascot Jared Fogle is not dead, but you wouldn’t know that if you were on Twitter in the past 24 hours.
According to name The International Business Times, Fogle is the latest celebrity “death” on Twitter. The hashtag trend #RIPSubwayJared has been blowing up on the social media site, causing many Twitter users to make jokes on behalf of the celebrity's fake death.

The source of this latest Twitter trend has yet to be discovered, although general speculation could ultimately determine that this is nothing more than Monday boredom.
Although Fogle himself was silent on the issue for several hours, he went on tweet the following around 3:12.
Every few months always odd to hear of my demise..However, I am indeed alive and well..thanks for all the concern. In NYC today.

Whether or not this is just an excuse for people to make some fat jokes on Monday or if this is going to become something bigger, Jared Fogle joins the likes of Hugh Hefner, Usher and Jon Bon Jovi who have “died” on the social media site.
Although, according to nameGossip Cop, these types of tweets are not uncommon for the semi-popular fast food icon.
