The actors are said to be in final negotiations for the second installment of the Divergent trilogy starring Shailene Woodley and Theo James.
Suki Waterhouse was cast as Marlene, whose character will befriend lead actress Woodley’s character Tris. Bradley Cooper’s 22-year-old girlfriend is continuing to transition from modeling to acting and has appeared in the films Pusher, Rachael and Love, Rosie. She is known best for being the face of Burberry.
Weston is known best for his role as Jay Moriarty in Chasing Mavericks. He will also star in the films Project Almanac and Taken 3 set to be released later this year.
Insurgent is set to be released on March 20, 2015, Variety reported. The film will take on a new director, Robert Schwentke instead of Neil Burger since post production of the first film, set to be released March 21 will overlap with production of the second film, reported Expose Entertainment.
