On Wednesday, the CW released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming fall series The Flash, showing off the title character's quickness and how it will look in live-action.
The one-minute trailer actually shows more of The Arrow than it does The Flash, as viewers get to see Oliver Queen, played by Stephen Amell, calmly walking along a path to a clearing where a single tree with a target stands.
He draws his bow amidst the Thirty Seconds to Mars background music and The Arrow quickly nocks and arrow before letting it fly. As he's doing all that, the camera switches to a The Flash quickly running towards the other man. He easily makes it to the arrow before it reaches the target and then crows about it.
The Arrow simply says "show off" as he prepares to let three arrows fly at the same time.
The show, which stars Grant Gustin, was officially picked up by the network last week, along with iZombie and Jane The Virgin. The CW also revealed that The Carrie Diaries and The Tomorrow People would not be returning for a second season.
