In the first three games of the 2014 Eastern Conference Finals, Miami Heat center Chris Bosh amassed a total of 27 points. In game four, he posted 25 points and helped Miami defeat the Indiana Pacers 102-90 and seize a 3-1 series lead.
Bosh went 7-of-12 from the floor, including knocking down three of his five 3-point attempts. He also connected of 8 of his 10 shots at the free throw line and grabbed six rebounds in 36 minutes of action.
The Heat dominated the first quarter and led 27-19 after one. At the half, the Miami lead was five, and then the Heat put the game away in the third quarter outscoring the Pacers by 11.
Miami small forward LeBron James recorded a double-double with a game-high 32 points and 10 rebounds. He also dished out five assists, according to ESPN.com.
For the Pacers, small forward Paul George netted 23 points, and power forward David West amassed a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Center Roy Hibbert went scoreless in 22 minutes of action.
“We understand the moment; we’re never going to say that we don’t,” said Miami shooting guard Dwyane Wade, who accrued 15 points, in his postgame press conference on nba.com. “We also understand that you have to get to four wins before you can move on. So, we have to complete that task, but we feel we’ve been playing good basketball the last three games and we want to continue that.”
Wade and the Miami Heat will look to close out the Eastern Conference Finals and secure their spot in the NBA Finals for the fourth straight year in game five on Wednesday night in Indiana. The game tips off at 8:30 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN.
