The View co-host, Sherri Shepherd, is reportedly separating from her husband of three years, Lamar Sally. Reps for the television personality have not responded to requests for comment.

A report from Page Six, however, reports that Shepherd has been telling friends that she and Sally are splitting.

This is Shepherd’s second marriage; she was previously married to her 9-year-old son Jeffrey’s father, Jeff Tarpley, until 2009. She filed for divorce after finding out he was cheating on her.

Sources are telling RadarOnline that their split is already ugly and the reasoning is because of Sally’s lack of career.

“Lamar told Sherri that he was a big Hollywood player, with scripts being sold. But she’s tired of being married to a guy that doesn’t have a job,” said the source.

Another source contradicts that statement, saying “Lamar is a very good writer and has won numerous awards. He also produced Sherri’s comedy show and that turned out really good. He did an excellent job with that.”

Seemingly confirming the split, Sally told Radar of Shepherd’s son, “I was great with Jeffrey. He was in my life for four years.”
