The Met Gala took place last night. The met gala is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. Last night featured the best of the best in fashion and many celebrities walked the red carpet in high fashion style. The night featured some fashion risks and fashion misses, but overall it was another impressive gala.
This year the gala had a new theme that focused on Charles James. James was known for his unique and elaborate patterns that created fashion unlike anything at the time. He is known as “America’s First Couturier.”
