From a fairy tale character to a woman dying of breast cancer, Ginnifer Goodwin has had an interesting acting career. She’s been on TV, in movies and even TV movies.
Goodwin’s first major role was on the TV series, Ed. She played a supporting character and was in 25 episodes. Her character’s name was Diane and she was the main character’s friend. Her first film role came in 2003 when she had a supporting role in the Julia Roberts movie, Mona Lisa Smile.
In her personal life, Goodwin is married to Josh Dallas, her Once Upon a Time costar and they are expecting a child together. The two met on the set of their ABC show. In April, they held a secret marriage ceremony after being engaged for six months and being together since 2011.
Goodwin has had major roles in both movies and on TV. She’s held a lead role on two television shows, a supporting role on one television show and has appeared in 13 films. Each role has been different and unique. While most of her films drift toward the romance side, her television roles have been very dramatic.
Since the 22nd is Goodwin’s birthday, it is a great time to review her best roles in both film and on TV. Here they are.
