The summer movie season has already kicked off with box office successes like The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Captain America: The Winter Solider. This season has already featured a surprise at the summer box office, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 did not hold the top spot for the second week in a row and lost out to the R rated comedy Neighbors.
This is one of the most packed summer movie seasons in recent memory. It seems like studios are really competing for who will win the box office every weekend.
