The Billboard Music Awards helped ABC dominate all fare for Sunday night in the TV ratings, even managing to outdo several CBS finales.

ABC averaged a 3.0 rating in the advertiser-important 18-49 demographic and 9.495 million viewers. Ahead of the awards show, America's Funniest Home Videos started off the night with a 1.6 in the demo. The Billboard Music Awards followed and improved to a 13-year high with a 3.5 demo rating and 10.5 million viewers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

CBS trailed in a distant 1.4 rating in the demo, but 9.175 million viewers, made the night closer in overall audience than ABC would likely wish. The Amazing Race bowed out of another season with a 1.7 rating, while a flat The Good Wife followed after with a 1.2 in the demo. The Mentalist improved to a 1.5 rating for its finale.

Right behind was Fox with a 1.3 rating in the 18-40 demo and a miniscule 2.99 million viewers. HitFix reports the network shows were all fairly even on the night, managing not to drop too much in the wake of the BBMAS. American Dad took in a 1.2 rating, The Simpsons had a 1.6 in the demo and Cosmos managed a 1.1 rating.

NBC was largely ignored by all with a tiny 0.6 rating in the demo and 2.14 million viewers. American Dream Builders and special Coldplay: Ghost Stories pulled in an identical 0.4 rating in the key demo, while Women of SNL closed out the night with a 0.7 rating.
