Last Comic Standing returned Thursday night with decent numbers, while few gave Fox's new Gang Related a chance.
NBC won a night with little competition, averaging a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.89 million viewers. Hollywood Game Night continued to be steady, if unremarkable, with a 1.1 in the demo, HitFix reports. A two-hour episode of Last Comic Standing premiered to a 1.7 key demo rating, which was a decent enough return.
CBS was quiet with a 1.3 rating in the demo and 5.76 million viewers as the network aired mostly encores for the night, with The Big Bang Theory repeat the strongest program of the night with a 2.2 in the demo and 8.94 million viewers. The only show to air a new episode was Bad Teacher, which went out as weakly as it came in, with a 1.1 rating.
Despite airing all new episodes, Fox could only manage third with a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.6 million viewers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hell's Kitchen slipped slightly on the night to a 1.5 rating, while brand new drama Gang Related only mustered a 0.9 rating in the demo for its debut.
ABC followed in CBS' footsteps and aired only one new show for the night as the network took in a 0.7 rating in the demo and 3.05 million viewers. Black Box continued its absolutely miserable run, falling to a new series low with a 0.8 demo rating.
The CW averaged a 0.4 in the demo and 1.33 million viewers as the network debuted the first two hours of the miniseries Labyrinth, which managed a 0.4 in the first and a 0.3 rating in the second.
