The Delirium pilot, originally developed by Fox for the 2013-2014 television season, was passed up by the network, but Hulu and WIGS have decided to host the pilot online starting June 20.
The pilot is based on a YA book by Lauren Oliver of the same name. The novel, the first in a trilogy, takes place in a dystopian society that believes love is a disease that needs to be systematically cured.
The pilot stars Emma Roberts (American Horror Story: Asylum) and Daren Kagasoff (The Secret Life of the American Teenager).
The network ultimately passed on the producing the show in favor of Sleepy Hollow and J.J. Abram’s (now-cancelled) robot drama Almost Human, reports Mashable.
Hulu will only keep the pilot online for 30 days, so fans of the novel should check it out immediately before it once again disappears.
The pilot was directed by WIGS co-founder Rodrigo Garcia, reports TV Line.
Billy Campbell, Michael Michele, Jeanine Mason, Corey Reynolds and Gregg Sulkin also star.
