Actor Cameron Thor, who appeared in the 90’s blockbuster Jurassic Park, has been arrested and charged with the alleged rape and kidnapping of a 13-year-old girl.
CBSLA.com reported that authorities arrested the 54-year-old on Tuesday for allegedly sexually assaulting his victim from April 2008 through March 2009.
Authorities said that the alleged assaults began after the girl went to Thor about acting lessons. He has primarily been working as an acting coach for several years. Investigators said that after one consultation, he drove the girl to a secluded area and allegedly raped her.
Thor was arraigned in Los Angeles county court Thursday on 11 counts of kidnapping, robbery, rape and sex crimes with a child under 14. He is being held on $2,600,000 bail.
According to the Internet movie database IMBD, Thor’s acting credits include Hook and A Few Good Men. However, he is probably best known for his small part as Lewis Dodgson, who schemed to steal embryos from the dinosaur park in the Jurassic Park film.
