After being apart of an incredible cast and film Think Like A Man Too, Actress Taraji P. Henson appreciates her family. She believes her acting career is decent, but what keeps her levelheaded are her parents and her son.
“My career’s good, but I think about my family. It’s just the two of us,” said Henson, reported by the New York Post.
Despite growing up in Washington D.C. and her parents being divorced at the age of two, Henson says she had loving and helpful parents. When Henson became a single mother in 1994, she raised her son Marcel Henson the same way her parents raised her. That was treating Marcel with the same love and helpfulness.
According to biography, having a son did not stop the actress from graduating Howard University in 1995 with a degree in theater. Having a son only motivated her to do better.
She compares her loved ones to a famous television family the Jefferson’s. Henson says the kind of house they live in now is huge. They have come a long way from not having a lot of money to living in Los Angeles, California. Any kind of home for that matter is a sine of progress that her and her family has made it.
“Listen, we’re like the Jefferson’s. Now a big LA house. To us, it’s a mansion,” said Henson, recorded by the New York Post.
