AMC announced on Monday that the cable network's Revolutionary War series Turn will be returning for a second season.
The sophomore season will be 10 episodes long and premiere in spring 2015, reports Deadline. The series, which focuses on the story of those involved in the Culper Ring, who helped spy against the British, has done decently well in the ratings during its first season.
The June 8 episode took in 2.2 million viewers and has overall averaged about 2 million viewers per episode and 709,000 viewers in the advertiser-important 18-49 demographic.
"AMC and its creative partners have a track record of nurturing programs we collectively believe in, patiently growing viewership and engagement over time," said AMC chief Charlie Collier. "With Turn, once again we dive in with our partners to build upon this very promising first season."
Turn stars Jaime Bell, Burn Gorman, Daniel Henshall, Heather Lind, Angus MacFayden and others.
The renewal follows less than a week after AMC announced they had green lit a second season of Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul, starring Bob Odenkirk, before the first season has even aired.
Along with that news, however, the network also revealed it won't be premiering until 2015.
