Our two favorite men, Ben & Jerry are back at it again as they are whipping up some brand new flavors for our mouths this summer.
The Huffington Post reports that Ben and Jerry’s will be paying a special tribute to the 40th anniversary of NBC’s Saturday Night Live with two brand new flavors. In addition the ice cream creators will be releasing two other themed desserts later on in the year.
The first ice cream is named “Lazy Sunday” based off of the popular sketch with Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell. It has a cake batter ice cream with cupcake pieces and chocolate frosting swirl inside of it. The other is based off Gilly, Kristen Wiig’s character, named Gilly’s Catastrophic Crunch that has chocolate and sweet cream ice cream with caramel clusters, fudge-covered almonds and a marshmallow swirl.
Time notes that while the flavors are on sale in actual Ben and Jerry’s stores, it is still not available to purchase in local grocery stores by the pint. Hopefully sometime soon so everyone will be able to have a piece of these delicious creations.
