Brad Paisley and Kesha are set to be joining Ludacris and Josh Groban as a panel of experts on June 22 when ABC will launch their own reality singing competition Rising Star but Kesha and Paisley are nervous about what to expect when the show starts in June.

The Hollywood Reporter added that the experts on the show have yet seen or heard any of the contestants on the show. The experts will be given a run-though but it will be a day before the broadcast is set to air.

Paisley and Kesha both expressed that they are not entirely sure what their title of "expert" will mean. Kesha recently spoke with Billboard and said that this experience was "terrifying."

Rising Star will be different from most reality singing shows, the decisions on which contestants advance will be entirely based on the audience from the start. It will be after that when the "experts" will have a vote that is worth 7 percent of a performer's total. Every contestant will need at least 70 percent audience approval during their song to move forward in the competition.
