If you cant beat them, then join them. At least this seems to be Brad Paisley’s new stance due to his behavior before his concert Sunday in Kansas.
The 41-year-old country singer striked a pose with some of his biggest fans, err well, haters, Westboro Baptist Church members as they hung out outside the venue, picketing the show.
Paisley found the protestors on the side of the road in Bonner Springs according to The HuffingtonPost carrying signs that read messages such as, “God hates fags” and “Sin breeds violence.” An additional sign was made specifically for Paisley as a tip of the hat to one of his songs with, “God hates drunks!” which is terribly ironic since the country star does not drink at all, reports Today.
The entertainer greeted them like he would any other and took a photo with the group, later uploading it to Twitter with the comment, “Westboro Baptist Selfie!! Or west-Burro(a--) selfie. Hopefully they can hear the show from out here. We’ll play loud.”
