One of the most beautiful theme parks we have visited. The flowers were blooming everywhere you turned.

Like many theme parks, Busch Gardens has a European theme. You can explore France, Scotland and Italy and of course the highlight Germany. One of the highlights is their world class roller coasters. Our favorite roller coaster was the verbolten. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but you are in for a surprise!

Besides thrill rides for the taller visitors there are many attractions for younger children and lots of entertainment, specifically the Sesame Street Forest of Fun and Land of the Dragons areas. We loved Celtic Fyre which was an Irish Step Dancing Show. I would see it again and again! We also enjoyed the German food and entertainment at Oktoberfest.

Busch Gardens is more than rides and shows, they offer education on bald eagles, clydesdales and gray wolves.

Busch Garden Williamsburg is located at Williamsburg, Virginia, at Exit 243A on I-64. It is 55 miles from Virginia Beach and Richmond, and 150 miles from Washington, D.C. Park times vary and can be found on their website.
