Reckless star, Cam Gigandet, was not shy with expressing his feelings towards his former O.C. co-stars.

In an interview with Elle Magazine, the Hollywood bad boy says he does not keep in touch with almost anyone he’s worked with in the past, particularly during his time in the O.C.’s 2005-2006 season. “No. Actually, Ben McKenzie was kind of mean to me,” Gigandet said. “I hadn’t done anything at that point and he was a little bit of an ass. But I love him. I think he’s a great actor and I love “Southland.”

According to Us Weekly, Gigandet received a cold welcome when he joined the cast of the O.C. back in 2005. It was no secret that fans wanted McKenzie and Mischa Barton’s character to live happily ever after, but her character had a major storyline with Gigandet’s character, Kevin Volchok which ultimately led to her death in the third season.

When asked about Barton, Gigandet replied to Elle, “Mischa? I didn't really…Was she there? I don't even have memories of her.” In fact, the actor didn’t have many good memories from his time on the show, calling his costars “miserable” and explaining that they did not remember their lines on purpose.

The only exception is comedian and actor Nick Thune who he appeared with in Bad Johnson. Gigandet clarified saying that no one was terrible, but he is the only person he’s really kept in touch with.
