Actor Morgan Freeman and model Heidi Klum are celebrating their birthdays today.

Morgan Freeman, 77

Actor, director and narrator Morgan Freeman turns 77 today. Freeman first starred in Who Said I Can't Ride a Rainbow, but gained more fame for his roles in the soap opera Another World and the PBS Kids' show The Electric Company. In 1989, He gained more prominence with his roles in Driving Miss Daisy and Glory.

In 1994, Freeman played Red in The Shawshank Redemption, and earned an Academy Award nomination for his role. He went on to star in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Unforgiven, Se7en, Deep Impact, Nurse Betty, Along Came a Spider and Bruce Almighty. In 2004, Freeman won the Academy Award for Best Supporting actor in Million Dollar Baby.

Freeman provided narration for several films and specials including Cosmic Voyage, War oft eh Worlds, March of the Penguins, The Love Guru, Conan the Barbarian and Slavery and the Making of America.

Freeman's recent film work includes Wanted, RED, Dolphin Tale, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Now You See Me, The LEGO Movie and Transcendence. Freeman will appear in the science fiction film Lucy alongside Scarlett Johansson.

Heidi Klum, 41

German model, television host, businesswoman, fashion designer, television producer and actress Heidi Klum turns 41 today. Klum became internationally known after her appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue. In 1997, she became the first German model to become a Victoria's Secret Angel. later in her career, Klum became the host and judge of the reality show Project Runway, which earned her an Emmy nomination in 2008 and a win in 2013 for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program. She has worked as a spokesmodel for Dannon and H & M, and has appeared in numerous commercials for McDonald's, Volkswagen and others.

As an actress, Klum had supporting roles in movies including Blow Dry, Ella Enchanted, and made cameo appearances in The Devil Wears Prada and Perfect Stranger. She also appeared on TV shows including Sex and the City, How I Met Your Mother and Parks and Recreation.

Klum has 4 children, 3 of which are from her former husband, Seal. Klum is currently a judge on the NBC reality competition show America's Got Talent.
