Actor Mark Wahlberg and Singer Brian McKnight are celebrating their birthdays today.

Actor, producer, model and former rapper Mark Wahlberk turns 43 today. Known as Marky Mark in his earlier years, Wahlberg becoming famous for his 1991 debut as frontman with the band Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. He later transitioned to acting, and is known for his roles in films including Boogie Nights, Three Kings, The Perfect Storm, Planet of the Apes, The Italian Job, The Departed, for which he earned a nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, The Other Guys, The Fighter, for which he earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor, Ted and Lone Survivor.

Wahlberg established the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation in May 2001, which raises and distributs funds to youth service and enrichment programs. Wahlberg is also active with The Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and Children.

Wahlberg is married to model Rhea Durham, and have four children. Wahlberg will next be seen in the film Transformers: Age of Extinction which hits theaters June 27.

Brian McKnight, 45

Singer-songwriter, arranger, producer and R&B musician Brian McKnight turns 45 today. McKnight plays eight instruments including piano, guitar, bass guitar, percussion, trombone, tuba, flugelhorn and trumpet. He is most recognized for his strong falsetto range. His most popular singles include "One Last Cry," "Anytime," "Back At One" and "Love of My Life."

McKnight released 12 studio albums, Back At One being his most successful, and has earned 16 Grammy Awards nominations.

McKnight has three sons, Brian Jr., Clyde and Niko, from a previous marriage.
