Debby Campbell, the oldest daughter of country star Glen Campbell is expressing her wishes to bring him home from the Alzheimer's facility he was admitted to in April.
In the new issue of Country Weekly, Debby said that she wishes to take her father home to care for him and that he has mentioned wanting to go home several times to her. "I think my dad deserves better than this," she said. "I’m not saying it’s bad by any means, but I don’t think he’s getting the attention that he needs. If I felt that [his family in Nashville] was spending hours with him and eating meals with him, it would be different."

Kim Woolen, Campbell’s wife of 31 years, told PEOPLE magazine that she made the decision to move him to the facility because it became a safety issue. She and her family had become exhausted while trying to care for him and ultimately decided that the facility would better suit him. Although they have three adult children, Debby was from Campbell’s previous marriage.

The Country singer was diagnosed with alzheimers in 2011, but continued to tour nearly two years after the diagnosis. Although he can still play the guitar, he has had trouble tuning it and it will be very unlikely that he will ever perform publicly again.
