Here’s our daily wrap of all things for Wednesday June 4th:
Justin Bieber is in the spotlight once more for another controversy. The Sun has released another video of Bieber saying the n-word and joking about the KKK. In the new video, which was recorded early in Bieber’s career, the singer replaces the word “girl” in his song “One Less Lonely Girl” with the n-word. A unidentified source stated that these new videos show “the real Justin.”
Marvel’s film Doctor Strange now has a director even though it’s not set to be released until after The Avengers sequel. Scott Derrickson, whose film Deliver Us from Evil is set to release July 2, will direct the Marvel project. Derrickson is known for directing films such as The Exorcism of Emily Rose and Sinister.
June has been officially declared LGBT pride month by the Obama administration. Obama is also pushing for Congress to pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act so that people cannot be fired because of their gender or sexual orientation.
