Darius Rucker is known in the music industry for being both a member of Hootie and the Blowfish and for being a successful country music solo artist but even he was unable to get into an after-party, even though it was being hosted by him.

Fox News reported that Rucker was hosting his fifth annual Darius and Friends benefit concert which is put on in order to help raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The party was set to take place on Monday June 2 at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. Rucker tried to enter Nashville's the Red Door, but wasn't allowed in because he had left his ID on his tour bus.

Taste of Country added SirusXM’s Storme Warren said that even though Rucker's bodyguard tried to convince the bouncer to let their group in, they still could not enter. Rucker and his friends left without making a scene or even complaining.

The event was still very successful, managing to raise over $225,000 for the children’s hospital.
