Demi Lovato shared her thoughts on the existence of aliens and mermaids during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday night.
"How self-centered would we be as humans to believe that we are the only living things in the universe?" she asked the late night host. She did note, however, that she doesn’t believe in the Loch Ness monster or Bigfoot. When it comes to man landing on the moon, she said she hasn’t done “my research” yet.
The “Neon Lights” singer even admitted she’s a "huge fan of conspiracy theories,” Billboard reports.
Trying to support her belief in mermaids, which she called an "alien species that lives in parts of the Indian Ocean we've never explored before,” Lovato said that Christopher Columbus was said to have seen three of them on his voyage to America.
When the former X Factor judge told Myers she had just watched an “extremely convincing” Discovery Channel documentary on this, he joked “The Little Mermaid?”
