In the ever-changing saga with disgraced Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, he has now reportedly hired investigators to dig up some dirt on the NBA.
A source has told the Associated Press that four private investigation firms have been hired to find some dirt on the league owners as well as former and current commissioners.
Earlier this week, the embattled owner withdrew his support for the sale of the team to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
In an interview on TODAY, Sterling's lawyer, Bobby Samini said that his client vowed to fight the sale and was prepared to demonstrate what he called the hypocrisy of the league.
The AP’s source said that the investigators are looking into any accusations of discrimination against the league and whether other owners have made racist or sexist comments.
Commissioner Adam Silver imposed a lifetime ban on Sterling and fined him $2.5 million for racist remarks he made in a phone conversation with former companion V. Stiviano.
The 80-year-old is suing the league alleging that his constitutional rights were violated as he was ousted because of the recording.
