Rapper, producer and hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre has purchased a new home and the home formally belonged to NFL star Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchens.
LA Times reported that Dr. Dre purchased the home for $40 million. The 18,298 square feet includes four acres, winding driveway, a cobblestone motor court and a moat/koi pond.
The home also includes high ceiling beams,vintage tile, antique doors, nine bathrooms, five bedrooms and seven fireplaces. The mansion was designed by architect Richard Landry.
Even though$40 million is an expensive price tag, it is $10 million below the asking price that Brady placed the house of the market for. The original asking price for the home was $50 million,Bleacher Report added.
Brady purchased the house back in 2008 for $11.75, the mansion was used as the couples off-season retreat for four years.
This purchase from Dr. Dre comes right after it was announced that his company Beats by Dre would be purchased by Apple. Dr. Dre co-founded the headphone company back in 2008.
