Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haselm will join Lebron James by opting-out of their contracts with the Miami Heat.
Henry Thomas, both players agent, told Miami Heat president Pat Riley that the two players will be going into free agency, according to ESPN.
Chris Bosh, another one of Thomas’s players, has not made a decision on whether or not to also opt-out of his contract. He has until midnight Monday to decide.
In a statement released by the Heat, Riley said that both players have been an important part of the Heat for a very long time and he hopes both will return to the Heat next season.
James opted out of his contract earlier this week and will test the free agency for the second time in his career. James, Wade, and Bosh met on Wednesday to discuss their future either with the Heat or elsewhere, according to USA Today.
If all Bosh opts-out, the Heat will have a NBA record $55 million in salary cap space to use this summer.
Wade’s remaining contract was $41.8 million over the two years, Bosh’s was $42.6 over two years, and Haslem was $4.6 million dollars for next year.
NBA free agency begins on July 1.
