Many fans and analysts of the NBA have questioned Dwyane Wade’s skills set the past couple of seasons due to his multiple injuries and off the court issues. With LeBron James leading the charge of the Miami Heat during Wade’s troubles, the 2006 Finals MVP had taken a back seat to help the overall chemistry of the Heat. However this year, he looks to be a key factor.

During their current 2014 championship run, the superstar guard has helped his partner in crime James a lot more. Wade missing 28 regular season games this season has kept him fresh and ready to go during the playoffs. Wade is averaging 18.7 points and 4.3 assists per game during the postseason.

When the Heat was down 1-0 against the Indiana Pacers, they were in dyer need of a victory. In the fourth quarter of game two, Wade and James scored a combined 22 points while Wade had 12 of them, reported by the Bleacher Report.

With the three-time NBA champion contributing a lot to the team’s success, they are heading to back the championship round for an astonishing fourth straight time. It will be a rematch of last year’s Finals against the San Antonio Spurs, stated by the Miami Herald.
