Eva Longoria who is known for playing her role as Gabrielle Solis on the hit television show Desperate Housewives, recently opened a restaurant that was shut down. Despite it being shut down, the 39 year old has defused speculation on why it actually closed.

There were recent reports her Las Vegas steakhouse shut down due to the fact there were health code violations. SHe was the name of the steakhouse, and it was designed to be a female-focused steakhouse. Reports say the Southern Nevada Health District temporarily closed the restaurant, according to ABC News.

However, Longoria took to twitter that health code violations were not the reason for the steakhouse to be closed. She claims the restaurant received an A rating when it came down to health code inspections.

“Just to be clear, the steakhouse in Vegas did not close for health violations. We had an ‘A’ rating at time of closure,” said Longoria, reported by Gulf News.

Despite her current Las Vegas steakhouse issues, it is known that Beso is one of Los Angeles’ top restaurants that Longoria runs. Since Desperate Housewives ended, the star actress has been apart of and working on an animated series called Mother Up!.
